It's in human nature to seek freedom.
But are we truly free or is it just an illusion
that we are living in freedom.
How long will it last until we realize we aren't?
In this season many got forced to rethink freedom.
The only one who set's free indeed is
the one who gave his live so we can be free.

only don’t let this freedom be an opportunity to indulge
your selfish impulses, but serve each other through love.

During this year I've realized once more not that much is consistent in this world. The only thing that is and will be consistent is Christ's love for us.

Schmetterlingsmädchen
Der Schmetterling symbolisiert Leichtigkeit.
Leichtigkeit, die traumatisierten Mädchen
gestohlen wurde, und mit der sie wieder
gekleidet werden sollen.
Mädchen gehören zu den Verletzlichsten.
Gerade in Indonesien haben sie mit vielen
Schwierigkeiten zu kämpfen,
das war meine Hauptmotivation, dieses Porträt zu malen.
Der „Graphium Euphrat“ ist eine Schmetterlingsart,
die in Indonesien häufig vorkommt.
Die typischen kleinen Inseln im Hintergrund
stehen stellvertretend für die tausenden
von indonesischen Inseln.
Der Schmetterling symbolisiert Leichtigkeit.
Leichtigkeit, die traumatisierten Mädchen
gestohlen wurde, und mit der sie wieder
gekleidet werden sollen.
Mädchen gehören zu den Verletzlichsten.
Gerade in Indonesien haben sie mit vielen
Schwierigkeiten zu kämpfen,
das war meine Hauptmotivation, dieses Porträt zu malen.
Der „Graphium Euphrat“ ist eine Schmetterlingsart,
die in Indonesien häufig vorkommt.
Die typischen kleinen Inseln im Hintergrund
stehen stellvertretend für die tausenden
von indonesischen Inseln.

Lightness that has been stolen from traumatized girls
and with which they should be clothed again.
Girls are among the most vulnerable beings there are.
Especially in Indonesia they have to struggle with many difficulties,
that was my main motivation for painting this portrait.
